Local Area Neighborhood · QR Work Order System

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what information the QR Work Order System, operated by Local Area Neighborhood (Norman Lai, sole proprietor), collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

Residents do not create accounts or passwords. We do not collect payment information.

How we use it

We do not use your information for marketing and we do not sell it.

Text messaging and your mobile number

Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and text-message consent are used only to send you messages about your maintenance request. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

Who can see your information

Your request is visible to the property manager for that property and to a vendor assigned to the job, so they can do the work. We also rely on service providers to operate the system: Supabase (data storage), Twilio (text messaging), and SendGrid (email). They process data only to provide those services to us.

We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and your choices

We keep request records for as long as needed to operate the service and keep a maintenance history for the property. To ask us to correct or delete your information, or to stop messages, email nlai.apartments@gmail.com. Replying STOP stops text messages immediately.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
